You can't go wrong with anything at Modern Pastry. All of the cakes, cookies, and cupcakes are out of this world. The prices are much cheaper than Mike's...Cannolis! Oh, the counter selections at Sevan. The smell when you walk in the door will enchant you. And then you'll get to the counter and salivate at the home made...When in doubt, follow the steady stream of Armenians up Mt. Auburn to Sevan. I married an Armenian girl and she swears by the place. "WHAT YOU WANT?!?" "NEXT!!" "YOU WANT WHAT?!?" If you're a timid person, I would recommend that you stay away from Eldo on the weekends from 9 to noon....I love this place!!! Every time I go to Chinatown, I always have to get a dozen of those egg tarts. I also enjoy the sponge cake, and the fresh whipped...I love Eldo's cakes :) My family get all our birthday cakes from there because of all the bakeries in Chinatown, they make the best fruit filled cakes....
